Finally got back my domain name.

The thing is, after I canceled my web hosting, the domain VIO1ATOR.COM still belongs to the web hosting company. Because when I signed up for their plan 2 years ago. It said "free" domain name registration. Yes now I fully understand what that "free" means. It means that they own the domain and if you canceled your web hosting with them and still want to retain the domain, you'll have pay them the domain registration fee.

After paying the domain registration fee, they will send you the EPP key and set the status of the domain to "unlocked". This is the first time I transfered a domain, prior to this, I have no idea how to transfer a domain to another registrar. Its quite interesting how the process goes. The first step is to get the EPP key from the current registrar, then go to the new registrar of your choice and select domain transfer, make payment then enter the EPP key you've gotten from your current registrar. After entering the EPP key, go back to the current registrar ("losing" registrar) to accept transfer. If you don't go back to accept after entering the EPP key, it will be auto accepted in 5 days.
